This place was once the best bbq in the Fillmore. Now urs white washed watered down flavorless bbq made to look nice on the plate but fail on your palate.
Ehhh I've had better bbq at home
I just enjoyed their dishes. I always get excellent service here. The place is well kept and the cashiers are always very kind. Highly recommended.
Really good food. Fast service, good beer selection, decent prices, can't go wrong with this place. Definitely recommend the Frankaroni.
This place is amazing! Amazing amazing amazing food! It's definitely not inexpensive, but definitely worth every cent. I highly recommend the brisket fries. I've come here multiple times, and in the COVID-19 era, they were clean, great at distancing, along with sanitizing everywhere.
We had an excellent in this restaurant. We liked the amazing vibes and the meals. The staff are very friendly. I am happy we ultimately managed to visit this restaurant.
This may be the last wood fired BBQ in the city. Before 4505 came along, there were other BBQ spots in this location, which is pretty cool. They've kept the BBQ going. They also care about where the meat comes from. The food is really tasty, the portions seem just right and the atmosphere is chill. It's not the best BBQ I've ever had, but it hits the spot.
This is probably one of the best of not the best BBQ places in San Francisco. The smell of the food all around area will make you wonder where it's coming from if you're not aware of it. The staff is friendly, nice, and super helpful. You can't go wrong eating here if you're a fan of BBQ.
Favourite place in SF for BBQ. Order online ahead of time so you just pick up socially distanced. Brisket is the best!
The fries are great. The ribs are good. The burger is okay. The success are really good -the white sauce is especially delicious with fries. I'll give this place another try and it's nice to have in the neighborhood. But it's not my favorite burger or BBQ place in Oakland. That said, the outdoor eating space is very pleasant!
I love this 4505 Burgers & BBQ. The beer is fantastic and their guest taps are always high quality. Their food is amazing. We got Brussels sprouts, chili, and sweet potato fries. The portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and the coli for dipping them in was so good! The Brussels were fried and crisp with not too much grease. The chili had pork belly and it as so tasty. Definitely not too spicy and had just enough veggies. You won't be disappointed!
The deep fried Mac and cheese is memorable! The brioche is served warmed and just melt in your mouth. The smoked meat has some crunch in it - maybe fried onions... overall good dinner with different flavors.
Was near Alamo Square, painted ladies. Stumble upon this great place. The brisket is perfect and the hot link is good. Service is friendly and it's the kind you order at the counter and wait for the food to come kind of restaurant which we like the most. Free self refill water makes it perfect.
This site is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a proper meal, this place comes immediately to my mind. extremely good and all kinds of food and a rich menu.well mannered team, and nice atmosphere. And very important, the bill is fair. I recommend this restaurant with no doubt.
I actually liked the food and customer service, good location very close to my house. The cashiers are always friendly. Would recommend to others.
i need to come back to try a few more items. I had some good brisket and pork shoulder. Would love to try a burger. Fun fast casual atmosphere. surprisingly fast service. nothing to complain about on my first visit here
My first experience here years ago was great. Today I placed takeout orders due to pandemic health protocols. Their food are still full of flavor just as I remembered. I give them 5 stars!
Went here to order the presidential a plate with 4 oz of every side and meat and a couple of drinks too. And let me start that with the most important part the meats and they were very tasty from the ribs to the brisket but I will say the pull pork and chicken weren't the best. But still decent and made better with the very unique sauces they have. Fries were very flavorful as well and the whole experience of the service and outside seating with warm heaters was very nice as well prices are also low for a BBQ.
Legendary burgers, nice patio, relaxed setting. The best burger I have had since the beginning of time. I have been here several times and always stick to their 'best damn grass fed cheeseburger with bacon' (cooked pink). They don't add pickle to their burgers which I respect.
Nice folks. Amazing BBQ. They got a big patio with picnic tables. It smells like heaven. I have grilled cheese and a vegetarian sandwich and big salads and posole coleslaw potato salad and ice cream root beer floats cookies even chicken strips. Fast service. Friendly staff. You can buy it by the pound or you can buy plates or you can buy sandwiches which is what most people do. It’s good for parties and offices.
Best BBQ brisket in San Francisco. Outdoor seating allows you to eat safely.
Due to pandemic restrictions, I just opted for a takeout order and it was fast! My order of smoked brisket was spicy hot and juicy meat. Thumbs up! They deserve 5 stars!
I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I must say their service is always awesome and they keep the place well organized all the time. Prices are convenient and they serve large portions.
Good food. Menu has plenty of options. I had the grass fed hamburger. Very tasty. I'll have to go back to try the rest of the menu.
Great place with a wide range of meat and a fantastic outdoor patio, which is already open with the due Covid 19 measures in place.I loved the Brisket, the sausage and the ribs.In particular the Brisket was nicely roasted and sliced not too thin and not too thick. Also relatively lean but with a nice soft fatty part in the center. Awesome!Didn't care much for the chicken :)Beans are a great side to have and their bread is super soft. Pair it with a nice beer and you'll have an amazing lunch.
Great, attentive and friendly service. The food is really really good. Good bark on the brisket. Juicy, tasty pulled pork. I loved the BBQ meat pozole. I loved the potato salad. The roll included with the plate was so delicious, crusty and crispy on the outside and fluffy and warm on the inside.
It's really delicious!!! And all the staff is pretty nice!
I’ve been here 3x in the past 5 years and the quality of product has decreased every single time I’ve been here. The brisket is dry and lacks flavor. We had to smother the meat in sauce to balance out our disappointment in bbq prep. The burger used to be my favorite in the city, but was lacking the last time I was there. It’s messy (which is fine) but for some reason the patty lacked character and depth. Either the seasoning or the char was off that day.Fries were good and bbq sauce is solid as always.Lastly those benches are annoying as hell. If you sit on one end of an empty bench, you will cause a seesaw effect and may fall off the end.3/5
They serve generous meals, one of my favorites their tasty smoked ribs at reasonable rates. We loved the food a lot and the staff were very helpful and attentive to our every need. Well kept and convenient spot you would want to come back often. Highly recommended.
Finally found a place to satisfy my BBQ cravings! The brisket is as good or dare I say better than some BBQ brisket I've had in Texas. Also, order the spicy fries. I ordered the plain but tried my husband's and they were phenomenal!
Ordered food and was told it would take 1hr. Got there at the time our order was supposed to be ready and we waited another 1hr. The restaurant prioritizes Caviar and such vs individual orders on their own website. BBQ is average.
The food was good and very nice friendly service
Prices high, servings miniscule and slow service are not made up by the tasty food. There are better BBQ places in SF.
Delicious, flavorful bbq ! Love the salads too!
It’s really expensive, and the portions are small, but it’s great barbecue in a great part of town. There’s usually a line which is a bummer, but if you can find a time when it’s quiet, it’s almost worth it.Side note: the frankaroni are childish, but amazing.
Wouldn't say the burger was the best ever, yet, it was a decent "grass fed" one. My main quibble is the high prices. Of course, eating out nowadays has become rather expensive, yet, you'd think something as simple as a hamburger would be inexpensive; nope. One thing I can say, the burger I had was tastier than what you'd get at Mcdonald's or Burger King.
Awesome ambience and very welcoming service. The meals were fresh and delicious. Will easily recommend this restaurant to others. Convenient rates and large meals. Good job.
I got a burger and fries it is straight amazing. Incredible flavors from the meat, great bun, sauce and topings. Also i am pretty picky and this place was worth leaving a review. I will be back many more times. Keep it up. Thanks
Friendly staff. Chicken was amazing. Brisket was amazing. I wasn't a big fan of the pulled pork but was still good. Bread roll was good. Cole slaw was different but great to me. Fries were the norm. Overall I would recommend If in the area and I will be back again when I'm in the area. Almost forgot.... sweet Tea was AMAZING😁
I went here with a friend and my three year old. The service was pretty good and the food was delicious. I had a burger and fries. The burger was just the right size. I have been to so many places where they make these massive burgers you just can't finish. This one was perfect. It had a great balance of toppings and was cooked beautifully, pink all the way through as requested. The staff was kind and on top of dirty dishes. The bench seating was nice for my little one. She was able to move around some yet still reach the table.
Three meat combo; chicken, brisket, pulled pork with sides pozole, fries, and the fried mac n cheese thing. First bite of the brisket was great - juicy, tender, warm. The other three pieces were tough, dry, room temp. The pulled pork and smoked chicken tasted good, but felt like they’d been sitting out for a few hours. Chicken was also dry. I felt like I was eating leftovers. Fries were fresh and crispy, fried in animal fat, but nothing to write home about. The fried Mac n cheese was good, but not something I’d pay $5 for one piece. The soda and my water cost $4 each. I should’ve asked before purchasing. Paid $45 for two people, sharing one plate and a drink each. Overall, I’m disappointed in both the food and prices and continue to look for a decent BBQ place in the city. However, service was great, and loved that they had heaters on a cold rainy day.
Sides are way better than the meats. Don’t order the meats if its almost closing time. The Frankaroni (Fried mac n cheese) and spicy fries are really good. Baked beans are pretty decent too. Maybe it’s because we were there at about 8+pm and the meat has been prepared since opening time. Brisket was dry and the pork spare ribs were even worse as they were tough and just lukewarm. The bacon beef and cheddar links were pretty good though. Which leads me to think if you’re gonna be there late, order something they have to make fresh, like a burger. Cos given how good the sides were, it’s hard to believe the meat were so sub standard.
One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Husband loves the pulled pork sandwich, I like the burger and the brisket. Best baked beans and french fries! Service is always top notch.
Delicious burger. One of the best I've ever had! Excellent service as well! I recommend the local Harmonic IPA for those who enjoy craft beer.
25 minute wait for takeout (promised 10 minutes). Order was wrong. Staff were slightly unfriendly. Food was par or slightly below. No brand name soda or hot sauce selection.
Stopped by on Sunday and I was impressed with the quality of their burgers. The meat was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the chef also came out and introduced himself. If you love burgers, you need to go there!
Appreciate the effort to stay open, but highly suggest you guys figure out a better way to handle online pickups vs people who come order right here! Had to go through the line twice, just to check if my online order was ready for pickup. 20 minutes standing, probably my food was sitting there for 15 of those minutes. Absolute confusion at the door. Wasn't very conducive of social distancing...
This little joint is a gem of comfort food. The dishes are gorgeous, so tasty! And the portions are generous (for a none-local). Brisket, chicken, pork...it is meat-lover’s heaven. I indulge in that type of food every one and then, tried many places and this one is ace.The staff is really friendly and even if the indoor space is small, the outdoor is heated and absolutely doable even in December.Go check it out!
This place is listed as one of the best burgers in California and the reasons are obvious. The burger itself comes from grass fed cows and has a nice beef flavor that blends very well with the tasty bun but I have to recommend getting the double with bacon as the regular burger with no bacon is slightly overpowered by the bread and throws off the taste. Also, the brisket fries are totally amazing and shouldn't be missed.
What makes a burger, Mr. Lebowski? Is it being prepared the right way using fantastic ingredients... whatever the cost... Isn't that what makes a burger?Yeah, that and a pair of delicious bun halves. You're joking. But perhaps you're right.
